XTensionX
Hi how can I check if a port is open, im still pretty new to the TCP stuff. I've tried TCPListen but that would interupt the connection if the port is in use. I don't want the program to connect to it, I just want to check if the port is open. Here is what I've tried: TCPStartup() Local $MainSocket = TCPListen("127.0.0.1", 65432) TCPShutdown() If $MainSocket = -1 Then MsgBox(0,"", "No") Else MsgBox(0,"", "Open") EndIf and TCPStartup() $socket = TCPConnect($g_IP, 65432) If $socket = -1 Then MsgBox(0,"", "No") Else MsgBox(0,"", "Open") EndIf thanks
water
You could have a look at trancexx's So you can get a list of all ports in use and then check the rest.
