Hello

By default, AutoIt uses absolute screen coordinates for the MouseClick() function.

I'd like to use relative coordinates to the active window instead, so that the script doesn't break because I moved the window and it saved its location.

Howerver, both the Window Info utility and the Au3Recorder utility only seems to show/record absolute coordinates.

What tool could I use to find the coordinates of a location within the active window?

Thank you.

Why use MouseClick? Use ControlClick, that's more reliable.

Because it's not a control, but rather an X button to close the window. It' a Delphi-based VLC control, not a standard Windows control. Windows Info shows no control when I move its finder tool over it.

In Au3Info you change it in Options > Coord mode

Thanks for the info.
