SciTE Config problem

Sorry, my English is bad:

I press Ctrl + 1 in the SciTE.

Now a window open.

In the Window is a Text:

Group: General settings

Keep n BAK versions of the edited file (0=None)

I can't the value change. In the moment is the value 5. But I want change the value to 0.

After I changed the value to 0, I press on Save+Apply.

If I restart my SciTE, the value is back to 5.

It always arise .bak files. that's irritating...

Looks like a bug. You can manually change file C:Users<Username>SciTEUser.properties

when i press contorl+1 nothing comes up.. scite is plan no configs no autoit options can someone please help

Did you install the full SciTE version?

Hi, i`m using the newest versions of AutoIt & Scite (full!) on Win7x64. On install i`ve chosen the 32Bit versions like recommended. (Install path: C: program files (x86) No Koda, no autoit options in scite available. In the scite folder there is Koda & everything else i want. But I want to use it within the scite menu... . Fiddling and looking the internet for 2 hours, but now i try to be clever & ask someone else...it`s sunday.

Can someone please help?

Welcome to the AutoIt forum.

You need to have an .au3 file open in SciTE for the <Tools> menu to show all the "AutoIt-specific" items.

Did you download the separate Full SciTE4AutoIt3 installer and install that?

The AutoIt3 Options should be available when you have a file opened in SciTE with an ".au3" suffix.

YES, with au3-file open, it shows up! Know i understand that the au3 options only appear on au3 files, cause scite can handle others too... .

I had not found something in the documentaion...
