water
You could try the TCP connection monitor written by trancexx. But maybe the service the server provides gives you more information. Let's say a terminal server should provide the number of active connections. hannes08
I use this little dos-batch to query the amount of RDP users (excluding the admins): query user | find "rdp-tcp#" | find /I /V "admin" | find /c "Active" From there it's just a small step to querying it remotely. Edit: Actually the "query" command has the ability to check remote servers: C:>query user /? Display information about users logged on to the system. QUERY USER [username | sessionname | sessionid] [/SERVER:servername] username Identifies the username. sessionname Identifies the session named sessionname. sessionid Identifies the session with ID sessionid. /SERVER:servername The server to be queried (default is current). I found the program on a Win2003 Server and a Win7 PC.
