string replace

this does not give me my desired result:

$text = StringReplace("AR123 Smith, Bob v1 - FULL MIX.jpg", " - FULL MIX ", "")

MsgBox(0, "New Text:",$text)

I get

AR123 Smith, Bob v1 - FULL MIX.jpg

I expected

AR123 Smith, Bob v1.jpg

what am I doing wrong

Because you have a space after MIX in your replace func.

$text = StringReplace("AR123 Smith, Bob v1 - FULL MIX.jpg"," - FULL MIX <JUST HERE

You have a space after the x in MIX, there's no space in the string. If you switch to a monospaced font, it shows quite clearly.

found it............its a typo on my part, there is a space after " - FULL MIX " there shouldnt be.
