BrewManNH Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 You will need to explain more about what it is you're trying to do because I can't figure out what you want to do with the text file or its contents. Also, you have no where in you code to put the contents of the file if that was you intention. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. JonBMN Posted January 21, 2013 Author Posted January 21, 2013 @nitekram yes that is what I'm trying to do. Very unsure how I would go about doing that though.

JonBMN Posted January 22, 2013 Author Posted January 22, 2013 Is there anyway I can make the GUI window variably sized to the lines and word count of the text file?
UEZ Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Normally you should see scrollbars where you can scroll the text. Further you can activate window resizing. Just check out post#5.
