aleph01
Good afternoon. I am collecting certain GetFileVersion data in an array. It then needs to be written to an Excel spreadsheet. This process will happen for several iterations. My mind is fried, and I can't get my head around how to tell AutoIt that "no, I don't want you to overwrite the cells from the last iteration, I want you to start on the next row, so that in the end, I'll have data from all iterations in the spreadsheet." I don't have any code for this yet. I can't figure out the logic for getting the new iteration to be placed on a new row. Can anyone point me to some examples, give me the magical tip, or otherwise get my stalled brain going? Thanks. edit: Peraps having the data coming in from the individual computers populate the array, and then only having to write to the Excel spreadsheet once is a better way? water
Be aware that my UDF is still a Alpha version and needs AutoIt 3.3.9.x (at least for the _Excel_BookAttach function). But I hope to make it work with 3.3.8.1 quite soon.
