sqa
I am trying to use Windows Info on a web page, it does describe the title and class of the window but do not see controls on it. Is there anything to read how can I automate WWW testing?
somdcomputerguy
The Info tool will not work on webpages themselves, but if Internet Explorer is to be used, there are IE functions for that browser that will probably do everything you need. There is also a Firefox UDF, and one for Opera. - Bruce /*somdcomputerguy */ If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. Bert
I've found using the IE.au3 functions the easiest way to automate a web page. I use AutoIt to test functionality in Salesforce which is web based. This method works great for me. Understand the AutoIt Info Tool does not work on we pages for it is not designed for this purpose. What I may suggest is this tool to do what you need in finding controls: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=18359 The Vollatran project My blog: http://www.vollysinterestingshit.com/

BrewManNH
No If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
