Open file that is in password protected folder

Hi all!

Is there a way to Run/Open a file in a password protected folder?

Cant seem to find any code to allow me to enter a password and it just errors out when trying to access the file.

Any help would be muchly appreciated!

Maybe you can open the folder:

Run("explorer.exe " & $FolderPath)

Write the password and the Run() the file path

Can you give us a screenshot of the GUI? where you need to enter the password?

Dont have a screen shot but its just a windows password protected folder on the server at work.

Which operating system do you run on the server? Never heard of the ability to password protect folders on Windows.

think its 2007, not entirely sure but i found my error - I missed a folder in the server file path!!! have been sick as a dog lately!
