I just need to copy the body and from/to lines of the latest sent email to the clipboard or a variable or whatever. I've perused the OutlookEX UDF wiki but it is not clear to me. Could somebody please throw me a snippet of code or something?

Do you create and send the mail using the OutlookEX UDF?

Agua,

The emails are created manually. A template is opened, filled, and sent. I would like to automate the following subsequent 3 steps which we are currently doing manually: Open sent email, hit reply/forward, ^a^c, close two windows, paste into reporting tool and then replace two sensitive lines with asterisks.

Thanks for the reply!

If you want to start your script as soon as a mail has been sent you should have a look at Outlook events.

Example script _OL_Example_SentMail_Event.au3 shows how to grab each sent mail (the coding is not perfect and needs to be changed before using in production).

You then have the object of the sent mail and can use function _OL_ItemGet to retrieve properties Body, From and To.

Is this what you are looking for?

Every function of the UDF comes with a help file (function.html) and an example (function.au3)
