rickybobby
I've been poking around trying to figure out how to query or obtain the number of sessions connected to my windows 2008 server via net session. But all it does is display computer names and such. I want to do this because I believe In the morning when all the comps are scheduled to turn on flood the server and some cannot access resources because others are connected. so what I want to do is: get net session concurrent user count: X if X > Y then net session /delete /y end if Any ideas? orbs
take a look at: _Net_Share_SessionEnum() b.t.w i think your assumption is incorrect, as servers are perfectly able to handle large amount of requests from waking computers. and even if it was correct, your solution is violent. kill the users sessions? seriously?
