kor Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 So I've done some searching and I'm seeing very inconsistent results with my code. #AutoIt3Wrapper_Change2CUI=y ConsoleWrite("! hello world" & @CR) ConsoleWrite("> another write to the console" & @CR) this works fine in Scite. running in dos only outputs the second console write, not the first. running in powershell doesn't output anything. #AutoIt3Wrapper_Change2CUI=y ConsoleWrite("! hello world" & @CRLF) ConsoleWrite("> another write to the console" & @CR) Again, runs fine in Scite. Now runs fine in DOS where both console write's are written to dos window. Powershell only displays first hello world output. #AutoIt3Wrapper_Change2CUI=y ConsoleWrite("! hello world" & @CRLF) ConsoleWrite("> another write to the console" & @CRLF) This works fine in Scite. DOS displays both outputs, however there is an extra empty line at the bottom. Powershell displays both outputs without an extra empty line. Is there any way to make this consistent across both consoles (DOS and Powershell) ? Or is there a better way to write to the consoles of these app's?
water Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Can you please describe why you want to write to the consoles of this apps?
