JJ1122 Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 (edited) while~select case~if~ then~three of them all don't work. how can i repeatedly send "a" only when i'm pressing it?also, "a up/a down" does work when i'm pressing "a", but it keeps sending "a" forever even when I take my hands off "a"when pressing B, send A -> DOES WORK.I don't know why when pressing A, sending A won't work.Am I the only one having this problem? #include <Misc.au3>While 1 Select Case _IsPressed(41) Send("{a}") EndSelectWEnd1.au3 Edited December 27, 2015 by JJ1122
computergroove Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 My guess is that autoit is fighting with the function native to windows that will press a repeatedly when you hold it in. You can see what I'm talking about if you open notepad and hold down the a key. Something something DllCall... might work Get Scite to add a popup when you use a 3rd party UDF -> http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/scite/docs/SciTE4AutoIt3/user-calltip-manager.html
water Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Welcome to Autoit and the forum!Can you please tell us which program you try to automate with your script? "Send" is not be very reliable because it might interfere with user input.
