Looking for a list of parameters

Hey, im looking for a list of parameters, or is it variables? that go like this: %1 %V and others i want to know about.

I came across %1 in registry, when you double click a file %1 makes sure the file gets parsed so it will work like someexe.exe %1

That makes it open with said exe.

Im interested in what is it called and how can i get list of all there is, of that kind.
