qwert Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 If I'm sending to a control, this feature is provided: Quote Send("{S 30}") ;Sends 30 'S' characters But how can add multiple occurrences of a character to a string? For example, what notation gives "& <n of Chr(65)>", where n is the number ... like 30. Thanks in advance for any help.
Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted February 7, 2017 Moderators Posted February 7, 2017 Why not send just A instead of the ASCII code? Then you could do: Send("{A 30}") "Profanity is the last vestige of the feeble mind. For the man who cannot express himself forcibly through intellect must do so through shock and awe" - Spencer W. qwert Posted February 7, 2017 Author Posted February 7, 2017 I would, if I was sending. My statement is more like $string = $string & <n of Chr(65)> In other words, $string is a variable, not a control.

qwert Posted February 7, 2017 Author Posted February 7, 2017 That's it! Thanks. I was caught up searching for character operations. I never noticed _StringRepeat.
