Added v1.5: cloud layer for a slightly better 3D look.

Added v1.6: moon orbiting earth without rotation animation 

 

Runs at ~9-10 fps on my system.

Wonderful script UEZ, would look nice with a spaceship and/or meteors floating by.

Would it be too difficult to add these?

Well, the script runs at lower FPS, for me around 10 FPS, and thus it makes no sense to add more fx. To fasten up the script I've to change to DirectX or OpenGL - GDI+ is too slow. :(

Yes, but same speed because of slow GDI+ calls. Currently working on adding additional FX which doesn't cost too much FPS...

the moon takes about a little more than 27 days (see orbital period) to make a tour around the earth, then, 10 fps, should be more than enough .... :P

Further more a rotation of earth takes also approx. 24h... :D

@Mehomic I added two little fx - more is not possible without decreasing earth display quality and FPS rate.

      Just press the lmb and move your mouse. When lmb is released you can adjust the size of the window by dragging the white rectangle to any direction. Rmb will move the marked area.

      Here a small tool I wrote to update my Sysinternal tools collection without the need to download always the whole package or visiting the site to check for updates. I know that there are several tools available (also some tools written in AutoIt) but here another one for the collection. It was good exercise for me to code it.

      Hello everyone,
      Im developing an script to check the size of all .jpg stored in windows folder.
      The problem is that it doesn´t work properly with rotated images. 
      With _GDIPlus_ImageGetWidth() and _GDIPlus_ImageGetHeight()  I get the Width and Height of images as if they had not been rotated, and I need to know how they are rotated (orientation and grades).
      Any help is welcome! If more info is needed, please tell. 😁

      I noticed a few issues for my use case with the UDF one being that adding a sample required updating the waveform
      High CPU usage went hand in hand with that requirement
      Another issue was just how long updating took to complete
      I've hopefully rectified that with this version
       
      There are a few changes (only 1 line per graph for instance)
      The addition of a function AddSample (uses graphics paths to speed up drawing samples on update) Gridlines are only generated once A sample finished line can be added UpdateGraph allows you to compress the discarded portion of the graph (it looks kinda cool but uses more CPU) Lower Cpu usage Uses real Control Ids - it is a label control underneath so you get click events and can display text when control is disabled Example (Waveform.au3)
