Greetings everyone! This is my first post on this forum. I've searched the site and google for this answer but haven't had any luck.

I'm new to AutoIT so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Issue:

I'm trying to copy Outlook Files and OneNote Notebooks folders to an external EHD.

I've tried adding double quotes around ""Outlook Files"" and ""OneNote Notebooks"" and haven't had any luck.

If I remove the second word (Files and Notebooks), the code works...really stuck on this one...lol!

MsgBox(1, "Copy User Files", "Copying files from Hard Drive", 0)
    RunWait(@ComSpec & " /c " & 'xcopy "C:\Users\' & $ID & '\Outlook Files\*.*" E:\BackUps\' & $ID2 & '\Outlook Files\', "", @SW_SHOW)
    RunWait(@ComSpec & " /c " & 'xcopy "C:\Users\' & $ID & '\OneNote Notebooks\*.*" E:\BackUps\' & $ID2 & '\OneNote Notebooks\', "", @SW_SHOW)
    RunWait(@ComSpec & " /c " & 'xcopy "C:\Users\' & $ID & '\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Signatures\*.*" E:\BackUps\' & $ID2 & '\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Signatures\', "", @SW_SHOW)
    RunWait(@ComSpec & " /c " & 'xcopy "C:\Users\' & $ID & '\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\*.*" E:\BackUps\' & $ID2 & '\Documents\Chrome\', "", @SW_SHOW)

You are missing the double quotes around the target:

MsgBox(1, "Copy User Files", "Copying files from Hard Drive", 0)
RunWait(@ComSpec & ' /c xcopy "C:\Users\' & $ID & '\Outlook Files\*.*" "E:\BackUps\' & $ID2 & '\Outlook Files\"', "", @SW_SHOW)
RunWait(@ComSpec & ' /c xcopy "C:\Users\' & $ID & '\OneNote Notebooks\*.*" "E:\BackUps\' & $ID2 & '\OneNote Notebooks\"', "", @SW_SHOW)
RunWait(@ComSpec & ' /c xcopy "C:\Users\' & $ID & '\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Signatures\*.*" "E:\BackUps\' & $ID2 & '\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Signatures\"', "", @SW_SHOW)
RunWait(@ComSpec & ' /c xcopy "C:\Users\' & $ID & '\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\*.*" "E:\BackUps\' & $ID2 & '\Documents\Chrome\"', "", @SW_SHOW)

Jos,

The code below copies the OneNote Notebooks folder but it does not copy all of the sub folders contained within it.

How do you copy all of the subfolders?

MsgBox(1, "Copy User Files", "Copying files from Hard Drive", 0)
    RunWait(@ComSpec & ' /c xcopy "C:\Users\' & $ID & '\Outlook Files\*.*" "E:\BackUps\' & $ID2 & '\Outlook Files\"', "", @SW_SHOW)
    RunWait(@ComSpec & ' /c xcopy "C:\Users\' & $ID & '\OneNote Notebooks\"*.* "E:\BackUps\' & $ID2 & '\OneNote Notebooks\"', "", @SW_SHOW)

Thanks in advance!
