BrunoJ Posted June 6 Posted June 6 (edited) I'm trying to resize a window, including all contents. The script below is what I have so far. It resizes the window, but contents remain the same size in my test window (I'm using a 16-bit application). But I cannot find a way to enumerate and then resize the child windows. Any Ideas? #include <MsgBoxConstants.au3> #include <WinAPISysWin.au3> #include <WindowsConstants.au3> Example() Func Example() ; Assign a Local variable the handle of the NotePad window Local $hWnd = WinGetHandle("[CLASS:Minesweeper]") ; If the window does not exist, display a message and return False. If @error Then MsgBox($MB_SYSTEMMODAL, "", "Minesweeper window not found.") Return False EndIf $dblMult = 1.5 $iWidth = _WinAPI_GetWindowWidth ( $hWnd ) $iHeight = _WinAPI_GetWindowHeight ( $hWnd ) ;MsgBox($MB_SYSTEMMODAL, "", "Width = " & $iWidth & @CRLF & "Height = " & $iHeight) ; Apply the resize _WinAPI_SetWindowPos($hWnd, $HWND_TOP, 0, 0, $iWidth*$dblMult, $iHeight*$dblMult, BitOR($SWP_FRAMECHANGED, $SWP_NOMOVE)) EndFunc ;==>Example Edited June 6 by BrunoJ

Nine Posted Sunday at 04:55 PM Posted Sunday at 04:55 PM You should read forum rules especially the part about game automation. But since M23 moved you without closing your thread, I suppose it is alright. Try something along those lines : #include <WinAPISysWin.au3> Local $aList = WinList() Local $hWnd = WinGetHandle("[CLASS:Notepad]") For $i = 1 To $aList[0][0] If _WinAPI_GetParent($aList[$i][1]) = $hWnd Then ConsoleWrite($aList[$i][0] & @CRLF) Next There is also _WinAPI_EnumChildWindows but it may not work as you want... “They did not know it was impossible, so they did it” ― Mark Twain Spoiler Block all input without UAC Save/Retrieve Images to/from Text Monitor Management (VCP commands) Tool to search in text (au3) files Date Range Picker Virtual Desktop Manager Sudoku Game 2020 Overlapped Named Pipe IPC HotString 2.0 - Hot keys with string x64 Bitwise Operations Multi-keyboards HotKeySet Recursive Array Display Fast and simple WCD IPC Multiple Folders Selector Printer Manager GIF Animation (cached) Debug Messages Monitor UDF Screen Scraping Round Corner GUI UDF Multi-Threading Made Easy Interface Object based on Tag
