I think this is just a bug in AutoIt. SmallGoD, use GUICtrlDelete() instead GUICtrlSetState(..., $GUI_HIDE).Those GuiCtrlSetState lines work fine for me, ie the input and the up/down counter are hidden. (I'm using production version 3.3.0.0) GuiCtrlDelete is not a good alternative IMO because you then have to recreate the controls when you want to show them again and remember then restore the contents etc. Serial port communications UDF Includes functions for binary transmission and reception.printing UDF Useful for graphs, forms, labels, reports etc.Add User Call Tips to SciTE for functions in UDFs not included with AutoIt and for your own scripts.Functions with parameters in OnEvent mode and for Hot Keys One function replaces GuiSetOnEvent, GuiCtrlSetOnEvent and HotKeySet.UDF IsConnected2 for notification of status of connected state of many urls or IPs, without slowing the script. Exactly as in the OP screenshot. AutoIt 3.3.0.0, Windows XP SP2 ??? Aah, I see. if you cause the gui to be redrawn in any way the up/down shows. Maybe the answer is to subclass the updown and turn of repainting when it's hidden if that makes sense.
