This is such a common issue with Windows that I don't know why I can't find it.

I don't like Windows hiding extensions of files. It's confusing.

So what I do now is manually go into Windows Explorer, click on Tools > Folder Options... > Views >

Uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types", which is set to "On" by default.

Is there an AutoIt script sample that unchecks this default?
