Moderators Melba23 Posted November 5, 2013 Moderators Share Posted November 5, 2013 (edited) Exit,Confirmed - and caused by the switch to StringRegExpReplace to do the work in the Beta rather than StringRight/Left in 3.3.8.1. It is the RegEx that causes the problem - not AutoIt itself - as it appears that the replacement string will not display the the "" character unless it is itself escaped. Easily fixed by escaping any "" characters like this:$sInsertString = StringReplace($sInsertString, "\", "\\")I will wait to see if an SRE guru can come up with something better before I amend the UDF code for the next release.
