99ojo Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 Hi, this should get the goal: $logfile = "c:\mylog.txt" $string = FileRead ($logfile) If $string = "" Then MsgBox (0,"","Log empty!") Else MsgBox (0,"Content of Log",$string) EndIf ;-)) Stefan

water Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 I would extend the example a little bit. Only read one byte so you don't heave to read a multi-megabyte-file if the log exists.$logfile = "c:\mylog.txt" $string = FileRead($logfile,1) If $string = "" Then MsgBox (0,"","Log empty!")
