Hello

Some time ago, I asked How to Send Alt-Shift or Ctrl-Shift, and got a simple and working answer:

Send("!{LSHIFT}")

but now it suddenly stopped working.

When I execute it, nothing happens..

(and If I manually press Alt-Shift myself, it works..)

What is the problem?

How can I make it work again?

Thank you

I did 2 things between "before" and "now":

1) Reformatted my PC, using Same OS and ServicePack(WindowsXP+SP3+AllUpdatesFromWindowsUpdate)

(by "all updates" I also mean I installed IE8..)

2) Installed Latest version of AutoIt

the programs have not changed..

I tried it myself using notepad and the Alt-key gets absorbed by notepad.

Could you please try:

Send("{ALTDOWN}{LSHIFT}{ALTUP}")

This worked for me.

Hi

Send("{ALTDOWN}{LSHIFT}{ALTUP}") works here too!

Thank you

If any problem occur in the future, I will try sending it to the TaskBar, as Steveiwonder suggested.

thank you
