Can AutoIT unzip a file?

Does AutoIT have a clever way to unzip a file and read the contents of the unzipped file?

Did you search the forum? There are UDFs for ZIP and 7ZIP available.

BTW: What do you mean by clever?

Without 3rd party utilities i didn`t saw extracting of zip file in autoit.(Search in forum may be you can find some UDF for this)

But using 3rd party Opensource utilities such as 7z and you can do everythink with zip file (extract,add,update etc...)

You can found all command line switches for 7z in help file or you can execute 7za.exe from command line with --help for see which options it has.

And then automate all your task using AUTOIT.
