How to get process information

Recommended Posts

I am trying to make a program that prevents users from running "unapproved programs"

here is a start to what I'm trying

While 1
    $array = ProcessList()
    For $count = 1 To UBound($array) - 1
        If $array[$count][0] == "program.exe" Then
            ProcessClose($array[$count][0])
        EndIf
    Next
WEnd

My question is there any way to get more info(filesize, checksum etc.) about processes since "program.exe" may be a good or bad program.

I will try the first one...the second one has this note so I was not sure it would be a good idea?

===> Important bug note: The SwbemRefresher object has a Microsoft bug that causes a memory leak when called repeatedly. Until a fix is found from Microsoft,

don't use _ProcessListProperties() in a tight loop. <===
