Hi,

I am new to autoit. I have small code to open specific url using IE after periodic interval using windows task scheduler. It is perfectly working on XP but on vista the page gets open but the windows remain active in task bar but not maximizing. I have put the code to maximize the window but its not happening. Any thoughts

$oIE = _IECreate ("http://www.cnn.com")

if _IELoadWait ($oIE)<> 1 then Exit

WinSetState ( "CNN.com","",@SW_MAXIMIZE)

window remain active in task bar but not maximizing after running the script through Vista task scheduler.

This should work:

$oIE = _IECreate ("http://www.cnn.com")
$hIE = _IEPropertyGet($oIE, "hwnd") ; Get Handle of the IE window
WinSetState($hIE, "", @SW_MAXIMIZE)

If I go to "http://www.cnn.com" then the title is "CNN.com - ..." so you could change the title in WiNSetState as well.
