Checking for a dependency

2 posts in this topic

Hello everyone, I have a script that while running, uses programs that depend on the .NET Framework 3.5. I have it installed on my computer, but I'd like to distribute the script, so I'd like it to be able to check whether or not the computer from which it's run has the Framework installed or not. Is this possible? If so, how would I go about doing it. Thanks.

Google is your friend ;)

Searching for "check if .net 3.5 is installed" delivered this ("How to determine which versions of the .NET Framework are installed and whether service packs have been applied") as the first hit.
