teunteunteun Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Hi, I'm trying to make an automatic CD which makes it able to copy the intire CD directory to the hard disk (c:\) My problem is that I have to use this CD on more then one computer. Not every computer has the same Drive Letter as CD Drive. So what i need to do is make a "dynamic" drive letter in some way. this is what i'm trying: DirCreate("C:\Program Files\Muppet_Babies") DirCopy("@ScriptDir","C:\Program Files\Muppet_Babies",1) This should Copy The intire CD's Directory to its destination. But it doesnt. The script in fact does nothing..... When i replace "@ScriptDir" with the actual driveletter, it DOES work. Is there an alternertive to @ScriptDir or any other way to solve this? Yours, Teun
water Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 (edited) Use $aDrives = DriveGetDrive("CDROM")to get an array with all CDROM drives. If there is more than one CDROM or/and to make sure that the correct CD is in the drive I would check for the existance of a file of your project on the CD.
