tamagogi Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 Hi, how can i find an source database if i have only web page interface? I connect to database with web page (example MainServlet or jsp pages) and i want know which type of database i connect, if is SQLServer, Oracle and which tables are in database. How can I do? Thanks and sorry for my english
water Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 You can't. If the web page doesn't provide the information you need (database type, tables) then it is intended by the web developers. To access the DB with AutoIt you need the information where the db is (which server), what type and how to log in. That's the information you usually get from the Db admin. water Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 If you need a userid/password to log into the database then I would suggest to ask the DB admins for ALL the info you need (db type, login id/password, db structure ...). The IP address is not enough. You need the db name as well. jvanegmond Posted October 11, 2010 Posted October 11, 2010 You can try to connect with TCP to the different SQL server ports and see if you can get output. This only works if remote access to the SQL server is enabled (which it is not in 99,9% of the time). MySQL server uses port 3306 Microsft SQL server uses 1433 These are by default, and they can be changed. github.com/jvanegmond
