Recommended Posts

Hello all,

i ahve a problem. I am using HID iClass contactless cards and some card-reader connected to a PC via RS232.

Those same card are used fore Time-attendance system and numbers i get of both (different) card readers are not the same.

Now my question is:

a) Is it my code?

;) Is there a problem in card readers?

Thank you all for replays.

Don't know anything about your setup, but ... I've recently seen a COM UDF mentioned on this forum.

Maybe this points you in the right direction to get correct data ;)

Oh thax for replay.

I was just wondering if it depends on hardweare (RS2R2 reader) or is it the code.

Because i have tried it with different COM readers i got from google and they return same code.

Anyway thanks again i will try to figure this out somehow.

Ok i start to think that there maybe can be a wrong type of conversion comapred new - old reader?

Is someone more skilled in this than i am ?

For example this is the number i should get 050377 but i am getting this one 00000602123852.

Thanks for any help!
