Given the idea behind AutoIt it would make little sense to spend a lot of time on implementing and debugging mutlithreading.

Afaik, the only real reason to have multithreading is to increase performance and when you need better performance a scripting language is usually not the preferred option to start with.

The problems people sometimes have with the GUI becoming unresponsive when the script is performing a task is easily fixable with just a single thread. After all, multithreaded programs are only starting to become common now.

In au3 program, if some gui interface window existing, you cannot call out another gui interface window

Based on that, you seem to be getting the unresponsive GUI issue. If you'd post an example of your problem I'm sure you'd get suggestions on how to solve it.
