BrewManNH
Look in the tools menu, and select Compile, it will open a GUI that will allow you to select the options you want when you compile a script. Or just add this line #AutoIt3Wrapper_outfile_type=a3x to the top of your script. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. Valik
Open Aut2Exe. Choose your source script. Type in the name of the output file WITH the .a3x extension. Press Convert. Not hard and there was no reason to post a long script that likely violated the rules.BrewManNH, don't assume everyone uses AutoIt Wrapper. It is not provided in standard installs of AutoIt, only to those who use SciTE4AutoIt3 which is not everyone.
GEOSoft
Reading problem or is it just comprehension that is failing? To quote ValikType in the name of the output file WITH the .a3x extensionThat would be the "Destination (.exe/.a3x file)" input field George Question about decompiling code? Read the decompiling FAQ and don't bother posting the question in the forums.Be sure to read and follow the forum rules. -AKA the AutoIt Reading and Comprehension Skills test.*** The PCRE (Regular Expression) ToolKit for AutoIT - (Updated Oct 20, 2011 ver:3.0.1.13) - Please update your current version before filing any bug reports. Mobius
I cant see a3x It actually says Destination (.exe/.a3x file) In the dialog for the output parameter.... Anyway from the commandline you could run: Aut2Exe.exe /in "C:\users\Jason\Desktop\adfad.au3" /out "C:\users\Jason\Desktop\scrt.a3x"
