rcmaehl
Check the script with SciTE or the the syntax program included with autoit, also add #AutoIt3Wrapper_Au3Check_Parameters=-d -w 1 -w 2 -w 3 -w 4 -w 5 -w 6 -w 7 to the beginning of your script My UDFs are generally for me. If they aren't updated for a while, it means I'm not using them myself. rcmaehl
Run any line of code that can be run by itself, by itself. If any of them give you an error you've found the problem. BrewManNH
Which line in your script is having the problem? You showed the error message, and supposedly the section that's causing it, but not the line that's giving that error. It'll be hard to figure out what's happening with just the function. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. guinness
@rcmaehl - Au3Check locates code errors and not runtime errors. @luddenm - Look at IsObj() to check whether or not $colSettings & $colMemory are Objects, also look at Scriptomatic (from the forum) or _IPDetails() in my signature to see how to correctly error check WMI code. rcmaehl
@guinness However if the problem is from trying to set a variable then the error message will appear from Windows XP and thus they'll know which variable is the source of the problem.
