reading eventlog

Hi,

I want to monitor the event log (that can be seen in Administrative Tools > Event Viewer) for error messages occurred from a particular application. If an error occurs then i want my system to restart. I am using Windows XP. But I am not able to find much how to do it... Please help.

hey, thanks for your help

I went through it, but m unable to decide exactly which function to use?. I just want it to check if one application gives an error in event log, then my system should reboot. It doesnt even require a remote connection. I dont want anything else. please help.
