I use this to backup a key RunWait(@ComSpec & ' /c ' & 'regedit /e "' & @HomeDrive & '\RegBackup\HKLM_Run.reg" "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run"', "", @SW_HIDE) Which works fine. Now im lead to believe that changing the /e for /s does the opposite RunWait(@ComSpec & ' /c ' & 'regedit /s "' & @HomeDrive & '\RegBackup\HKLM_Run.reg"', "", @SW_HIDE) But im not seeing the key reappear that was backed up? So is it right? Many thanks If Ive just helped you ... miracles do happen. I think it would be a good challenge for you and you would learn a lot too About your problem, what happens if you run this code directly in a cmd prompt? BrewManNH Posted October 4, 2011 Share Posted October 4, 2011 Instead of hiding all of the command line prompts and such, troubleshooting 101 says you should try to run it visibly and see what errors you're getting if any before trying to go farther. First, swap /k for /c, then get rid of the /s and the @SW_HIDE so you can see if you're getting any messages from RegEdit. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise.
