runas

4 posts in this topic

Hi,

I am trying to run the application framepkg.exe which is on a server (wfdc04 in the folder C$\data\CustomEPOAgent\) on the domain that the pc I am running the script on. I need the application to runas user 'testuser' who has a password of 'RDFKEso34'

RunAs ("testuser", @ComputerName, "RDFKEso34", 4, "\\wfdc04\C$\data\CustomEPOAgent\framepkg.exe")

I need to use Runas to circumvent UAC on the desktop.

The domain account logged into the desktop has rights to the folder and app concerned.

Could you please help with the syntax,...as I have run out of time.

Thankyou

regards

Peter

I think you need to replace @Computername with @LogonDomain.

Hi Water,

I have totally misunderstood the syntax required... I thought @Computername was required as the user that I need to run the app via is a local user with admin rights.

I will try your suggestion tomorrow.

Thankyou

Regards

Peter

Hi Peter,

I'm very interested in the results you get. Maybe the AutoIt documentation should be enhanced then.
