word test error

Hi,

Can you help me for the following error:

"Variable must be of type "Object".:

msgbox (0,"WordTest","Your Word Version is : " & $objWord.Version)

msgbox (0,"WordTest","Your Word Version is : " & $objWord^ ERROR

in the code

$objWord = ObjCreate("Word.Application")

msgbox (0,"WordTest","Your Word Version is : " & $objWord.Version)

msgbox (0,"WordTest","Build: " & $objWord.Build)

$objWord.Quit

Looks like the creation of the object failed.

Is Word installed on the machine where you run the script?

A COM error handler would be fine. Please check ObjEvent in the help file.
