Quinch Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 Question - is there a simple way to build a sort of error tolerance into a script? I'm working on one that should run while I'm away from the computer, but since it's in the early stages, it's not quite stable yet. Thus, I'm wondering if there's a way to have the script try to continue or restart if it encounters an error that would normally stop it?

Have a look in help file and search for AutoIt.Error - >ObjEvent("AutoIt.Error" [, "function name"]). All other errors cannot be catched, afaik. Quinch Posted January 9, 2012 Author Posted January 9, 2012 Nah, not objects just general errors - exceeded array subscript values and so on, stuff that Scite doesn't catch at compile but that can crop up while the script is running anyway. Thanks anyway, though.
