You should NOT modify au3.properties, but put any altered lines into the User Option file where they override the standard settings and will not be overwritten on upgrade. That is why the User Option file exists. Therefore you should place this in the file named SciTEUser.properties or Options >> Open User Options File.Edit: Melba23 got there first, again!
