Vivek221 Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Hello everyone, I have created some scripts to install software silently. Now i would like to automate tests for those scripts.I have tried to create some tests using selenium (Blue Duck Driver). But i am not able to do it. All i want to do is run my scripts through a series of tests and generate pass/fail. I am very new to testing, so can some one please tell me how to create automated tests for autoit scripts. Regards, Vivekananda
water Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Please search the forum for "selenium" or "testing automation". You will find a lot of threads. Vivek221 Posted February 6, 2012 Author Posted February 6, 2012 Thanks for the reply.I couldn't get the required information from the forms. But i found a framework called "Jsystem" (http://www.jsystemtest.org/). I feel it might help me. I will try it and post my finds.Regards,Vivekananda
Vivek221 Posted February 13, 2012 Author Posted February 13, 2012 The JSystem framework was not very user friendly. The packages mentioned in it are also not easily available. I am planning to create my own testing utility. This seems to be the only option. Regards, Vivekananda
