Memory base address

Recommended Posts

Lesley

Hi,

Im still stuggling with a pointer address and I can use some support.

Here is my problem:

I need a value, located here: program.exe+198B08

I tried lots of ways to make it work, without success, for example

  • _WinAPI_ReadProcessMemory
  • NomadMemory
  • With and without: #RequireAdmin
  • With and without: SetPrivilege("SetDebugPrivilege", 1)
  • _MemoryGetBaseAddress
  • etc and nothing worked.
What is the best way to retrieve the value.

Examples are really appreciated!

Background info:

Windows 7, x64

AutoIT v3.3.8.1

I hope you've already read the forum rules, especially the part about games

If this thread isn't against the rule i can help you easily, your problem is almost nothing in memory patching.

I assume you automate a game as quick as you have removed the word "game" from your OP.

This won't bring you much help but in the worst case a few days being blocked from this forum

Lesley,

I did not see the "game" word, but I accept the word of an MVP that it existed - especially as threads dealing with "memory base address" nearly always are for games. Please read the Forum rules to which you have been linked and obey them in future.
