GUI for windows explorer?

5 posts in this topic

Hello AutoIT forums,

Is there a way to make a gui that displays the contents (files including their icons) of a specified directory?

Basically what I'm trying to do is to emulate windows explorer minus its other components.

Thanks!

(I don't have any script since I don't know where to start. I'd also searched the forums [strings: 'windows explorer', 'gui'] and helpfile but to no avail.)

Sure, Yashied's might be a good place to start.

You need to create an image list for the list view. You can find a lot of details on this site by searching. I just had to do this for an application (I just PMed you a script I was working on to see how it was implemented).
