Mingre Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 Hello AutoIT forums, Is there a way to make a gui that displays the contents (files including their icons) of a specified directory? Basically what I'm trying to do is to emulate windows explorer minus its other components. Thanks! (I don't have any script since I don't know where to start. I'd also searched the forums [strings: 'windows explorer', 'gui'] and helpfile but to no avail.)
water Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 Sure, Yashied's might be a good place to start. Mingre Posted April 9, 2012 Author Posted April 9, 2012 (I already did what I wanted with a listview. My problem with listview though is that I don't how to retrieve the icons of each file. Help anyone?)
Mingre Posted April 9, 2012 Author Posted April 9, 2012 water, Checking it now. Thanks for the reply!
ZacUSNYR Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 You need to create an image list for the list view. You can find a lot of details on this site by searching. I just had to do this for an application (I just PMed you a script I was working on to see how it was implemented).
