Include Library Question

5 posts in this topic

I have question about using library. If i add string library (string.au3), does it means "I add whole library" or assume that i use only _StringBetween function then does it means "i add only stringbetween function" ? I mean if i want to use only one function in udf, is it unnecessary to add whole library?I hope i told clearly.

#include includes the whole library. If you want to get rid of unused functions included with libraries use Obfuscator with option /striponlyincludes. Press ctrl+F7 in Scite, select tab "Obfuscator", mark "Run obfuscator before compilation" and enter set "/striponlyincludes" in field "Obfuscator parameters".

You can also place this at top of your script:

#AutoIt3Wrapper_run_obfuscator=y
#Obfuscator_parameters=/striponly

When you compile such script from full Scite (Scite4Autoit3) by F7 it will strip unused constants/functions
