Automatically close error windows without polling?

Recommended Posts

What I want to do is create a program that automatically closes certain error windows the instant they appear. I'd rather the program just wait for the error window to appear than to keep checking at fast intervals. Is there a way to do that without constantly polling? Is it possible for the error window to trigger the waiting program? I'm trying to write a program that manages a large number of other programs, so actively polling is something I want to avoid if possible.

Waiting for a new window to pop up might be possible with the I haven't done it myself.

If you can catch the event of a new window you then have to decide if it is an error window and then how to handle such an error window.

Might become a huge taks.
