varru Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 Hi allI'm new to this forum.I am working on an application which will try to retrieve data from MS Access database (*.accdb) file.I am unable to open a connection to the database.Kindly help meHere's the code i used.$dbname = "C:\Project\Routers.accdb"$tblname = "db"$query = "SELECT * FROM " & $tblname & " WHERE Loopback=218.248.254.111"Local $title$adoCon = ObjCreate("ADODB.Connection")$adoCon.open("Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.4.0; Data Source=" & $dbname)$adoRs = ObjCreate ("ADODB.Recordset")$adoRs.CursorType = 1$adoRs.LockType = 3$adoRs.Open ($query, $adoCon)$title = $adoRs.Fields("Router_Name").value$adoCon.CloseMsgBox(0,"testing",$title)I am getting error at that point and could not proceed further.What is the provider that to be used for Access 2010 database?Also any declarations required at the beginning of the code????Thanks in advance
