akorx Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 (edited) Hi Guys, Imagine i've got an array like this : $array[0]="a" $array[1]="b" $array[2]="c" $array[3]="d" $array[4]="e" Now i'd like to insert a new value called "titi" between the "c" and "d" then : - the $array[2] will stay with "c" - $array[3] will become "titi" - $array[[4] will become "d" - $array[5] will become "e" i've got a solution that consists to duplicate the array to another and after create a new line to my array and recopy the first line one by one until array[3], copy the new value, and finish to copy the last lines... but i think it's not the better solution... So is there a function to do that ? NB : sorry for my bad english,i'm french. Edited May 24, 2012 by akorx AkorxMail akorx@yahoo.fr

water Posted May 24, 2012 Posted May 24, 2012 But be aware that inserting records into large arrays may take some time (the more records to move the longer it takes).
