I just installed the script editor on a new windows 7 pc.

On my old XP pc, I click "Compile" and I get a dialog where I can enter the name and location for the .exe

However, now, AutoIt chooses a path and file name and compiles it with no dialog for me to enter any options / changes / path or anything

I cant not find a setting for this.

Is this option now gone?

Thanks for any help

Did you install the full SciTE package or just the stripped down version which comes with AutoIt?

I am not sure. I had trouble finding a proper link. I went to downloads and downloaded "Current version". That aborded with a message "The primary component must be installed first, aborting"

(Or something to that effect).

Can you give me a link to the proper download?

Thanks
