AutoitMike Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 I just installed the script editor on a new windows 7 pc. On my old XP pc, I click "Compile" and I get a dialog where I can enter the name and location for the .exe However, now, AutoIt chooses a path and file name and compiles it with no dialog for me to enter any options / changes / path or anything I cant not find a setting for this. Is this option now gone? Thanks for any help
water Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 Did you install the full SciTE package or just the stripped down version which comes with AutoIt? AutoitMike Posted September 14, 2012 Author Posted September 14, 2012 I am not sure. I had trouble finding a proper link. I went to downloads and downloaded "Current version". That aborded with a message "The primary component must be installed first, aborting" (Or something to that effect). Can you give me a link to the proper download? Thanks
