Sending information to process / program

Hey all,

This will be the very first time that I'll be attempting such a thing.. so I have no clue on anything and if you can and will help me, please be as elaborate as possible.

I'm attempting, by the use of autoit script, to change tabs and input info in a certain program (hlsw).

For those who are familiar with the program. I'm attempting to change the rcon tabs and input rcon password without it having a fixed location.

Currently, what I always did was put the window in a fixed location.. so the buttons I want to click have a fixed location also.. but whenever the window was not in that location t he script would fail.

I'm now trying to make a failsave way of sending mouseclicks to a window, no mather if it's big, small, in the right or left cornor or (if possible) even minimized.

but it's not the only program I want to do these things with. ..

Understanble, but it's not my intention to inject into a game. Neither is my intention to bypass security measures.

All I want it to do is open HLSW, go to rcon, click the test button (rcon password is already filled in), go to mirc bot and start the mirc bot. (if there's a mirc window and channel available)

That looks like a dedicated game server tool to me and as such falls foul of the rules to which you have been linked. As a result I am locking the thread.

If you can convince me via PM that it this software is not entirely game-related then I might reconsider - your move.
