Developers Jos Posted December 29, 2012 Developers Posted December 29, 2012 There is a question there somewhere? IF you mean that you do not understand why they are "Not Equal" then i guess you need to check if the number of spaces are the same. They are not for the result posted. Moderators Melba23 Posted December 29, 2012 Moderators Posted December 29, 2012 which1,Firstly, you MUST give us more to go on that just a few code lines if you expect to get any help - you did not even bother to tell us what the error was! Remember we are all volunteers here and most people will not even bother to read cryptic posts like yours let alone work to discover what is wrong. But I did read it.......and there must be something different in the 2 strings or the match would not fail. Often a space is actually as @TAB or there is a trailing @CRLF. Try using StringToBinary on the 2 rresults and see if that shows where they differ. which1 Posted December 29, 2012 Author Posted December 29, 2012 Thank you Jos.The 2 strings are indeed different : 'Luc -' and 'Luc -' Sorry water and Melba23, i'll be more explicit next time.
water Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 I always use function StringStripWS(String, 7) to remove all surplus spaces.
